The 1X solution is 137 mM sodium chloride, 2.7 mM potassium chloride, and 25 mm Tris (pH 7.4±0.2 at 25°C) . TBS buffer is a commonly used buffer for immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization, ELISA and Western blotting, along with preparation of blocking buffer, antibody dilution and wash buffer.
