It does not require additional calculations or pH adjustments to help reduce errors and maintain consistent buffer preparation.
The 1X solution is 137 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM kCl, 25 mM Tris, and 0.05% Tween-20 (pH 7.4±0.2 at 25°C) . TBS-T is used in a wide variety of applications such as immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), ELISA, and Western blot where it may be used for antibody dilution, wash buffer, or preparation of blocking buffer. |
